What we store

  • Your account: email address, name if you give one, and how you sign in (password or Google). Passwords are handled by Amazon Cognito; Prepvio never sees them stored.
  • Your interviews: the transcript, the problem, the code you write and when you typed it, timings, scores and the written debrief.
  • Your Kiro API key, if you add one: encrypted with AWS KMS, shown to you only as its last 4 characters.
  • Technical logs (for example errors and how long replies took), kept for up to 30 days.

What we don't store

  • Voice audio. In voice mode each answer is sent to Amazon Transcribe to turn it into text, and the interviewer's replies are spoken by Amazon Polly. Prepvio keeps only the text, never the audio.
  • Payment details. Prepvio has no payments.

Who processes it

  • Prepvio runs on Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1).
  • Amazon Transcribe and Amazon Polly, for voice interviews.
  • The interviewer's replies come from a model on Amazon Bedrock, which receives the interview conversation. Or, if you add your own Kiro API key, from Kiro under your Kiro account.
  • Google, if you sign in with Google: it shares your email address and name with us.

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Other users can't see your interviews.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one protects Google sign-in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

You can remove your Kiro API key on your profile page at any time. To delete your account and interviews, email grites@prepvio.in from the address you signed up with.
